A good gym layout makes a small room feel bigger, keeps members safe and stops expensive machines from sitting unused. Our gym design and layout service is free with every equipment quote, whether you are planning a 400 square foot hotel fitness room or a 10,000 square foot commercial gym build out.
What the layout plan covers
- A scaled floor plan showing where every machine, rack and bench goes
- Safe clearance around treadmills, racks and cable machines
- Traffic flow from the entrance, locker rooms and water stations
- Zones for cardio, selectorized machines, free weights and functional training
- Flooring plan, including rubber gym flooring under lifting areas and turf lanes
- Power outlet locations for treadmills and other powered cardio equipment
How it works
Send us your floor plan, a sketch with measurements, or a few photos of the room. Tell us who will use the space, how many people will train at peak times and your budget. We return a layout with an itemized equipment list, so you can see exactly what fits and what it costs.
If the first version is not right, we revise it. Swapping a machine, adding a squat rack or moving the dumbbell area takes minutes once the plan is drawn.
Who uses it
Gym owners opening a new location, hotel and property managers refreshing a fitness room, athletic directors planning a school weight room, and companies building an on-site employee gym. The same service applies whether you buy one package or a full gym equipment list for a new gym.
